Suspend is a powerful suspended concentrate insecticide. The formula is famous for containing Deltamethrin.

It is a broad range insecticide with the ability to control pests such as ants, spiders, roaches, flies, mosquitoes, fleas, wasps and hornets, centipedes, millipedes, pantry pests, silverfish, bedbugs, beetles, and many more.

What’s Good?

  • Starts working almost immediately, as soon as insects come in contact with it.
  • Does not produce a bad odor.
  • A gallon can treat 1000 sq. ft. area.
  • Provides 3 months of protection.
  • Non-staining insecticide formula.

What’s Wrong?

  • Extremely toxic to aquatic animals as it can contaminate any nearby water body.
  • Fumes are harmful when inhaled, therefore using a Face Mask before applying is recommended.
  • It is highly toxic to bees on direct contact.
  • The protection is not lasting when outside under rainy weather. You can use Suspend Polyzone that lasts longer outdoor.

Suspend Polyzone Alternative

Suspend Polyzone is the newer and better version. It has the same active ingredient as Suspend SC but they added a polymer to its formulation. The polymer enables it to last 90 days outdoors and works better on porous surfaces. Suspend SC would only last about 30 days outdoors.

One excellent quality Suspend SC has is that it leaves behind a clear residual on surfaces after it has been used, which keeps on working for more than 3 months by killing pests on the surface.

As a general purpose perimeter pesticide, Suspend SC is an excellent choice as it can be used for protection both indoors and outdoors. Suspend SC is very cost efficient since it starts acting against pests at remarkably low concentrations.

The formula has a fast knockdown against pests along with a long residual power. Suspend SC can be used on items such as mattresses, box springs, carpet, and upholstery. Suspend SC kills pests by poisoning the central nervous system of the insects.

Once insects come in contact with it the poisoning starts which excites their nerve cells leading to paralysis and eventually their death. Suspend SC also contains biocides which prevent microbial growth and extends the products shelf life.

About 4.75% of the Suspend SC insecticide consists of the active ingredient called “Deltamethrin”.

Suspend SC is a high-grade formulation and different from other Pyrethroids because it is a single & pure isomer making it 100% active. Its unique set of ingredients and formulation give this insecticide the maximum power to kill insects.

Suspend SC works indoors as well as outdoors. For an indoor application, the product may be applied on crack and crevice and for general surface treatment like spraying on mattresses, carpets, furniture, etc. directly.

Hence, it increases chances that insects come in contact with it and Suspend SC starts killing them.

For an outdoor application, Suspend SC may be applied as a residual spray around the residential and non-residential areas or may be applied as a perimeter treatment (Where pests are active and may find entrance) around the house to prevent infestations. Suspend SC starts working immediately on contact with pests.

Industrial Impact

Suspend SC is considered an advanced-generation pyrethroid in the industry with the ability to fight more than 50 different pests. In the pesticide industry, it is known to play a key role in malaria control due to its active ingredients.

Most importantly, it is safe for humans as well as pets, once it dries up. The formula is safe about 30 minutes after spraying for pets, children, and adults in the vicinity. Since the insecticide formula is safe for contact with humans it is widely used in the food service industry as an insect repellent.

If you can wash your hands and make a sandwich then you can apply these chemicals. Make sure you buy a good sprayer. The application will pay for itself. No more expensive visits from so-called Professionals.

William, DoMyOwn Customer

This product Suspend SC does not kill bed bugs. I sprayed this product directly on the bed bugs but it didn’t kill them. I sprayed in the whole house too but it didn’t eliminate the problem. I don’t recommend this product for Bed Bugs. It is a waste of money.

Deneene, DoMyOwn Customer
